Surveys and Lot Planning
Basswood Consulting is the consulting and project management division of Basswood Inc., at 1413 Basswood Lake Road, Huron Shores, Ontario P0R 1L0. We help with land consulting and project management across Algoma District, Northern Ontario. We are not the planner, the surveyor, or the engineer.
Surveys and lot planning start with a survey arranged through a licensed surveyor. Basswood Consulting is not the surveyor.
With the survey in hand, we help plan driveway, building, septic, and well locations on the lot, in line with access, slope, and the buildable area.
If the file also needs a planner or an engineer, we coordinate with that licensed professional. We do not prepare the survey, and we do not take the place of the engineer or the planner.

Does Basswood Consulting survey lots in Algoma?
No. We arrange the survey through a licensed surveyor. We are not the surveyor. With the survey in hand, we help plan driveway, building, septic, and well locations.
Who prepares the survey?
A licensed surveyor prepares the survey. If the file also needs a planner or an engineer, we coordinate with that licensed professional. We do not take their place.
